Lovely afternoon chatting with voters in Summit yesterday, with my colleague @rebeccakislak and @coreyjonespvd! Primary Day is Tuesday, everyone…and early voting is underway. Get on out and vote 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Every so often there's a bill that really gets int

Every so often there's a bill that really gets into your blood - Secure Choice is that one for me. And what an unmitigated pleasure it was to see it officially signed into law today, after four years in the making! Thanks to this new program, nearly half of Rhode Island workers will now have access to retirement savings programs - a key tool in closing the racial wealth gap and ensuring a dignified old age. Many thanks to my partners in this work, Rep. Evan Shanley, Treasurer @james_a_diossa, my colleagues in the Rhode Island Senate, and the many, many community groups, including @aarpri, @rhodeisland_bba, the @epi_ri, the @ri.hispanicchamber, and others. This is a win for us all!

It was a pretty evening yesterday to be out hitting the doors and talking to voters with @yeseniaforpawtucket and @omarrey0730! Also, check out this amazing calabash that one of the neighbors was growing on their fence…! It was so impressive I took a picture 🎃

Great to be in the fine city of Warwick yesterday, attending a ceremony to sign the 2024 package of #housing bills into law. I’m deeply grateful to be part of a legislature that has made housing a top priority.
